Our Programmes

Community

By listening to our community partners about their needs, we can facilitate valuable and meaningful partnerships with our business members.

Our Community programme covers everything from hands-on team volunteering days, to skills-based opportunities where business volunteers can strengthen the capacity, capability and sustainability of our community partners.

Education

Our flagship Education programme, Mentoring Works, matches volunteers from local businesses with local students over the course of an academic year. Mentors and students meet fortnightly, with sessions focused on helping students to prepare for the world of work.

We also offer our students additional opportunities such as career insight visits, networking opportunities, support with college and university admissions, as well as help with facilitating work experience placements.

Mental Health

BAME Equality

BAME Equality

BIG Alliance recognises how mental ill-health does not discriminate and can affect anyone. According to the NHS (2020) one in four adults are effected by mental health problems in any given year.

In partnership with our amazing corporate volunteers we support the community through our various initiatives and do what we can to help break the stigma.

Since the beginning, we have been committed to supporting the BAME community but recognise the opportunity which currently exists to amplify the awareness and change needed.

We are passionate about inclusion, equality and access for all, in all aspects of life. Our programmes are designed to support our community partners who help a diverse range of beneficiaries.
